Chilled Pizza dough

Chilled Pizza dough

The Dough Council’s chilled dough is a traditional Italian-based recipe using sourdough and is especially formulated to work from the chiller. There are no artificial preservatives or colouring, there’s no added sugar and the product is suitable for vegans.

The 500g dough is enough to make two large pizza bases, and it is flexible enough to enable you to make either a thin and crispy base, or a thicker, puffier Neapolitan style-base.

Please follow the instructions on the How-to video or go to The Dough Council’s You Tube channel.

The dough can be frozen and will be safe to eat, but as the product contains yeast, this may adversely affect its performance, so we do not recommend it.  A frozen dough will be widely available soon, but is currently available only from Gault’s Deli.
